Pepper Chicken curry is the perfect chicken curry recipe during the colder months because of the spiciness n heat, it keeps you warm and cozy. Also the black pepper has medicinal properties that keep you protected from common cold, cough n sore throat, the common ailments of this season!

Ingredients for Pepper Chicken:
Chicken - 500 g;
Marinade - 1.5 tbsp black pepper powder, 1 tsp turmeric powder, 1/2 tbsp ginger paste, 1 tbsp garlic paste, 2 tbsp lime/lemon juice; 1 tsp cooking oil, 1 tsp salt;
Onion - finely chopped, 3 cups;
Cinnamon - 1 inch stick;
Cloves - 5 no;
Curry leaves (optional) - 10-15 no.;
Green chillies - de-seeded and sliced; 2-3 no.;
Coriander powder - 1 tbsp;
Garam masala powder (optional)- 1 tsp;
Green bell pepper/capsicum - sliced, 1 cup;
Mint leaves, coriander leaves/cilantro, green spring onions to garnish;
Cooking oil - 2-3 tbsp;
Salt; to taste;
