How To Make Venison Pepper Steak : Texas Style Cuisine Recipe



If you are looking for different ways to use the deer you harvested this season then you will want to learn how to make venison pepper steak. It has a quick prep time and it taste great. My wife and I love it and it has always been a favorite recipe of my kids. You do not have to use venison. You can use beef just as easy to make this great venison recipe. Recipe
2lbs Venison Steak (round steak will work fine)
2 Bell Peppers Sliced
1 Medium Onion Sliced
1 Large Jalapeno Sliced Thin
8oz Cremini Mushrooms Sliced
1-2cups Flour
1 can Diced Tomatoes
1cup Water
1 1/2tsp Garlic Powder
2tsp Salt
1tsp Black Pepper

Cut steaks into small portions
Use meat tenderizer on steak
Dredge steaks in seasoned flour (salt, pepper, garlic to taste)
Brown steaks in a small amount of oil
Add seasonings
Add peppers, onions and mushrooms
Add diced tomatoes and water
Bring to a boil
Turn heat down to a simmer and cover pan
Cook for 30 minutes
