Gongura chicken or Ambadi chicken or pulicha Keerai Pepper Chicken is a very popular dish of Andhra Pradesh.These leaves are also called as pitwaa in hindi,Pundi in Karnataka ,sorrel leaves or kenaf leaves In English,puntikura in some regions of Andhra, pulicha keerai in tamilnadu but it is widely used in Andhra cuisines.It is a rich source of iron and few other essential nutrients.

Each recipe has a unique and distinct flavour, so anything cooked with Gongura is wonderful.You can add sautéed gongura leaves without grinding and then prepare the curry.But I prefer this Making.Also I have made as a curry,if u prefer it to be dry,u can cook the curry with little water.
