Pepper chicken is a perfect winter recipe and its very easy to make. This recipe needs no grindong masala, no elaborate cooking.
We can make this with very simple and basic ingredients.
Pepper chicken has a taste and aroma that is very different from the other chicken curry recipes. All that makes the pepper chicken dish special is the fresh coarsely ground pepper which brings the mild heat to the chicken.
It can be served as a starter or as a accompaniment to rice or naan or chapathi.
This pepper chicken recipe can be used to make both versions of the pepper chicken dry and a curry or gravy. To get the right taste do stick on the exact measurements.
Chicken 1 Kg
Onion 200 Gms
Green Chillies 2 Nos
Curry Leaves
Black Pepper Powder 4 Tspn
Red Chilly Powder 1 Tspn
Coriander Podwder 1 Tspn
Cumin Powder 1 Tspn
Turmaric Powder 1/2 Tspn
Steps to Make:
First add cooking oil(gingely oil) and fry the
chopped onion well into it
Now add 2 green chilles, 2 tspn ginger garlic paste to
it and fry it well.
Now add all the masal powders to it and fry it well in the
oil
Now add the chicken pieces to it and mix that well
with the masala
Add 3 tspn black pepper powder to it and mix that
add 100ml of water close the lid and cook it for 15mins
Remove the lid and cook till the water gets drain.
Now add about 1 tspn black pepper powder and cook
for 5 more mins
Finally add curry leaves for garnishing. Spicy Pepper
chicken curry is ready to serve hot
